Knights of Columbus
Sacred Heart of Jesus Council #15922
The Knights of Columbus empowers Catholic men to live their faith and serve their families, parishes, communities and country. Founded by Blessed Michael McGivney in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is the premier lay Catholic men’s organization. Guided by principles of charity, unity and fraternity, we build lifelong relationships with our members and families. We offer formation, mutual aid and financial security to members through our charity, products and outreach. We aspire to invite every Catholic man to join the Knights of Columbus and to extend our charitable reach as widely as possible.
If you are a Catholic male, over the age of eighteen and would like more information, please reach out to Grand Knight, Oscar Aran, at oaran2014@gmail.com or call him at (905) 975-7904.
Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic (evangelistic) organization of lay people in the Catholic Church. Participation in the Legion will be of interest to all Catholics who wish to grow in holiness through prayer and participation in the spiritual works of mercy. You may choose to be either active (prayer as well as service in the parish and wider community) or auxiliary (prayer at home in support of active members). Any Catholic: young, not so young, single, married, working or retired is welcome to attend a weekly meeting of the parish praesidium to learn more about the organization.
